In the modern era, there are a plethora of causes of air contamination in many countries. I deny this statement because there are a number of reasons that exacerbate air pollution, such as industrialization and using private vehicles.
On one hand, nowadays, more and more people are traveling by utilizing their own cars due to modern technology and industrialization. Firstly, nowadays, citizens are more likely to buy luxury cars than in the past to save time in most countries, so they face traffic congestion issues and increasing air pollution in cosmopolitan cities. If the daily usage of land transportation systems were compared to the air travel rate, the number of vehicles on land would be greater than that of planes on air. That is why the amount of noxious gas on roads would be higher than the amount of hazardous smog in the atmosphere. Secondly, more and more developed nations produced a vast number of electronic devices as well as appliances for their profits due to the perks of cutting-edge technology. Therefore, manufacturing processes may be a major source of fumes in prestigious countries. This could affect the environment, which may more serious than the number of fumes released by international flights.
On the other hand, the high value of air tickets would impact international commuters. The number of travelers inside the country is significantly higher than that of visitors abroad due to the capricious difference between air travelers and land passengers. Hence, setting laws to raise the price of air tickets would not be an effective way to reduce air contamination. Instead of raising the value of air tickets, the governor should emphasize the excellent policies and rules on land transportation as well as on the industries in each nation.
