Nowadays, modern developments in air travel have concentrated mostly on first-class passengers and have left other travelers without any benefits. I partly agree that ordinary travelers should also benefit from improvements in air travel; however, first-class passengers often remain the main priority.
Initially, business-class passengers usually do not receive as much attention as those who fly first class. Due to the lower price of the ticket, regular travelers get an ordinary provision such as cold drinks and snacks which might not be fair because of the constant comparison to the passengers who buy a more expensive ticket. Even so, every traveler deserves roughly the same level of attention. For instance, in 2015, Finland’s air travel company introduced more benefits for business-class passengers with items such as a rucksack, socks, and earphones.
However, there are several reasons for the high attention from air travel organisations to the travelers with first-class seats. Individuals who purchase tickets at an increased cost will, as expected, get more opportunities during a flight. Gifts, such as a set of creams or decorative cosmetics, or even a spacious shower bath, are included in the whole price of the ticket. For example, the Arab Emirates airplanes provide their first class passengers with a large bed and TV with more than 80 shows.
In conclusion, although air travel developments have brought some benefits to all passengers, I believe that first-class travelers gain significantly more advantages. The majority of innovations, particularly those related to comfort and service quality, are primarily designed for and experienced by premium passengers, making air travel far more convenient and enjoyable for them.
