In this temporary world, a rise of young offenders has become a major global concern which is deemed by some experts as a result of insufficient education from both parents or teachers. I find myself, undoubtedly, leaning towards this perception based on socio-educational aspects.
To commence with, lack of education in social life might be one of prime reasons for the increase of juvenile delinquency. On the grounds that were children to learn the rules of socialization comprehensively, they would reconsider the punishment of criminal action prior to executing those unacceptable behaviors, such as mugging, theft, or many more. Other than that, rarely do parents pay attention to the kids could make them more aggressively commit the crime, either in minor or major scale. Thereby, they could bravely assume their habits as a common behavior and not feel guilty toward their victims. For instance, in urban areas, a child of career-focused parents tends to exhibit negative behaviors like bullying their relatives to seek attention.
In addition, owing to the poor teaching method at the school, it might lead to misunderstanding among the pupils. Due to the fact that they could not absorb the lessons in the proper way, and might motivate them to be a wrongdoer on a whim. To illustrate, adolescence probably creates vandalism activities, such as breaking car’s windows without any reason. Relatedly, the sanction which they might have gained is not as severe as becoming a murderer; hence, never do they have a deterrent effect of that.
On a final note, it seems to me that poor education in morality and social norms could significantly contribute to the increase of violence by the youngsters since it could encourage them to engage with illegal endeavors.
