Nowadays, people not concern about safety while riding vehicles and also, not following road safety rules, the only way is to give harsh punishment. I completely agree with the statement but even there other ways to improve road safety rules to make people perfect while driving.
To begin with, the people should follow road safety rules to avoid accidents. The government should imposed fine on people, who break rules, this is one of the effective method to make people follow rules. In past, India witnessed significant number of road accidents due very loosely enforced regulation. However, once hasher regulation are imposed such as fine cost increased from 500 to 2000 in 2009, there are some notable reduction in accidents and died rate due to accidents has reduced.
This is not to say that only by using stricter rule can enhances safety of roads. On the other hand, there are many effective measure to ensure people safety, such as giving awareness video in social media and articles. The roads should have a proper indication so, people will not mislead to other roads. To ensure safety and the government should place awareness board in road sides.An impress quote should be present in the board to create awareness. For example, “Speed thrills but, it kills”. It will create a huge impact on drivers.
In conclusion, I believe there are also other ways to make people drive safer. So, the government should create awareness about people safety. In case they didn’t follow the rule then government can impose fine and other harsh punishments then it is acceptable.
