Nowadays, it is generally accepted that school courses should pay attention to beneficial subjects such as information technology and science instead of art and music. From my own perspective, I partially disagree with the given opinion due to the following reasons.
On the one hand, there are several merits for children who study subjects related to technology and science. To begin with, it is clear that learning these majors can bring teenagers to a good foundation. For example, kids will be cultivated some skills such as communication, presentation, teamwork and participated in many projects involved in expertise which become a background to help them get a stable job in the future. Secondly, the youth generation can contribute to enhance development in society when pursuing subjects like information and science. It helps the quality of human’s life to be more convenient. For example, people can contact with each other just by pressing some buttons thanks to the invention of smartphones.
On the other hand, it is a well-known fact that art and music play a crucial role in our life. Firstly, there is no denying that studying art and music is a good way to entertain. Attraction from these subjects helps kids to be more keen on going to school. For instance, learners can relieve stress after learning subjects that require a lot of logical thinking by taking part in art and music lessons. Furthermore, it is clear that art and music subjects can help children develop themselves. One reason for this is that demanding for comfort and freedom in given subjects will establish creative and careful personality
In conclusion, although many people think students should solely put effort into studying majors such as information technology and science, I still believe it is necessary to studying art and music. Hence, learners should study subjects alternately so that they can spend time for both studying and entertaining.
