The table reveals a comparison between the number of passengers coming to the train station per day in every hour and the average cost of their tickets.

According to the table, commuter numbers peak three times during the day. Among the peak hours, the midday at 12 pm is the busiest time of a day where the number of passengers coming to the station reaches to 700, followed by the morning time at 8am where 690 passengers and the night time at 6pm where 670 passengers.

The ticket prices partially follow the change in number of travellers arriving at the train station. The average price per ticket rise from $23 to $31 when the number of passengers reaches to the maximum level of 700 in the midday 12pm and subsequently drop to $17 by 4pm with 230 passengers. However, the ticket price continues to drop to $11 at the peak hour 6pm where 670 passengers coming to the train station and later rise to $22 at 8pm. The final tailing off drop in ticket price is to $18 in at the end of day at 10pm.

It is clear to conclude that the average price per ticket will change based on the number of passengers arriving at the train station.
