Social media is the way of conveying ample of emotions both positive and negative. People uphold an opinion that public uses this platform to showcase their disappointment or negative emotions. In my perspective this is purely a positive development due to multiple justifications which will be mentioned in upcoming paragraphs.
Firstly, showcasing views on social media relieves stress factor among individuals. To explain, it helps to people to present their opinion openly without any restrictions. In regard to this, the second justification is that it makes people more opinionated as well as aware about societal happenings. Thirdly, social media is a common platform to not only present one’s own opinion to others but alow know about the feelings or emotions of other people.
Moving to the remaining justifications, the prominent aspect in this regard is that this form of communication helps bringing unity among people. For example, a recent incident of rape case in west bengal , India has gathered large number of audience through social media who have shown their discontentment towards this issue. Moreover, delineating negative aspects through social media, in criminal cases or other offences, helps in gearing up the process of justice. As a result, justice is ensured with this form.
To conclude, there are myriad of positive outcomes of venting negative emotions through social media, prominent one for people is to relieve their stress and voice their frustration in public. The pivotal advantages to society are unity among people during criminal offences.
