In the past, their was minimal effect on environment as international travel had no gain grounds. However, Nowadays, tables have turned. At present, people are fond of traveling around the world by all means of transportation but most of them prefer traveling by plane.There is a widespread debate about this. One school of thought indicates that restrictions should be imposed on air travel while other argues that travelling by air is more adaptable and prominent than environmental impacts. As far as, my view goes i would support the former view.
On one hand, it is said that restrictions on air travel would curb the environmental effects a couple of evidence can bolster this stand. The most prominent reason behind this is airplanes and helicopters are emitting pollution in the air as fuel is burning which is causing immense amounts of carbon dioxide(Co2) released in air. This view exists as huge amount of Co2 in the air would be resoposible for green house effect.As a result, temperature of the earth would rise. In addition to this, it is also seen that noise created by airplanes would disturb the wildlife which would eventually effect the environment. This reason is buoyed in the fact that the noise created by the engines of the planes are creating much noise when flying above the forest or the quite place where there is a strong influence of animals than humans this would disturb them and they would fly to the place where they would be much familiar and some of them while changing the environmnet causes them death. Consequently, This would make many animal and birds lossing their life. Many empirical evidence has proven that places where restrictions has imposed in airplane or area considerd as no flying zone the beauty of nature has improved as temperature as remained in controll which would result in tress living rate increased by 20%.
In sharp contrast, there is an argument that environmental benefits can be less considered in comparison to international travel. This opinion is based on solid reasons. One of the most convincing factor is the income that is being generated as a part of tourism. This idea is taken into account because with the increasing number of visitors travel unique places the local vendors as well as local government are earning from them as they would use certain kind of service form them. Therefore, It has creating many jobs in market as well as boom in economy is seen. Moreover, almost everyone notice that air travel has reduce the amount of time it would take to reach the destination compare to other modes. This hypothesis is based on the fact that their are very less halts between the starting point and destination and no traffic in the air. As a consequence, People can reach their designated spot in less time and without any hassle. The fact that air travel is first choice of audince when they think of traveling across the borders is paradigm for this.
As far as, my view goes the restriction on air travel is necessary because with an increase in people choosing this mode of transportation, the vistors have increased making it densely populated which would increase in litter and waste in the spots which are untouched by people as they have curiosity to visit them.
To make a long story short in foreseeable future air travel is going to increase as it is having lot more benefits and it would be unfortunate. It is recommended that awareness should be spread regarding this issue to curb this pollution.
