It is often argued that teachers must concentrate on high¬-achieving students rather than motivated students . I strongly advocate this idea that teachers should spend their time with diligent students more rather than who has motivated.
First of all academic students have greats goals and successful ideas which may totally change the world making people’s life more comfortable and saver. To explain it further they have great necessity for new knowledge while motivated students do it step by step with pauses. Moreover they participate in Olympiads and scientific exhibitions which not only enhance their academic knowledge but also develop thinking and problem-solving skills. For example Nicola Tesla studied all his life and after many years he did the most considerable discoveries and inventions for humankind. Thus intellectual students having excellent imagination,visualization of each risk are vital for scientific discoveries and future development of technologies
Secondly teachers should support them and their ideas making them more successful. So if student has some doubts in cognition teacher can give him an extra lesson. for instance savants proved that academic students with teacher aid 60% more successful and confident than who studied alone. From my personal prespective motivated students can not gain too high marks because motivation is just temporary desire which not accompanied with constant discipline so this is influential to stand out from the rest.
Taking all mentioned factors into consideration teacher should strive and play vital role in academic students lives for better learning , better long-term outcomes and respect among society
