Do you think that investing in buildings huge outdoor public spaces with be Beneficial for towns or urban areas? Nowadays, there are numerous authorities/ governments tend to construct new impressive buildings for their citizens for entertaining them. Therefore, I partially concur with that statement, and in the forthcoming paragraphs, the supporting ideas which confirm my views will be explained/ expounded.
On the one hand , I agree with the building new public places for several reasons. When the governments get down to build new public spaces such as parks and entertainments place for their population , then they will be enjoyed and have their leisure time will be exciting for them. Furthermore, new public spots will encourage investors to invest their money into useful projects which lead to economic boom which will reflect on the economy and boosting the incomes. Moreover, when the states launch new impressive areas or malls , this will contribute to attract a great deal of tourists or visitors from all over the world and that will bring the country to be on the top ten of touristic countries. For example, there was survey conducted by Kuwait University shown that more international students enrolled in it because of modernistic buildings in the Shadadiya university.
On the other hand, I disagree with constructing new public buildings for vital / significant / prominent factors. Instead of building new places for entertainments , the government should pay attention to poverty / needy residents and assist them to overcome / tackle their hardships and support them with money instead of investing. In addition, some public facilities such as schools and hospitals need to periodical repairing and maintenance those facilities in comparison with investing in modern public zones. For instance, there was debate about this topic in Jordanian Parliament shown the number of old schools and hospitals should be maintained rather than wasting investment on build outdoor public spaces .
In conclusion, no one can deny the importance of having modernistic public places in the country. However, the government should pay attention on the basic need of citizens and after that they can invest in public malls or parks as well as attract tourists.
