Nowadays, it is debated that whether urban places should have more public sites or not. Some people feel that local authorities should allot much funds to make large outdoor areas. I concur with this notion, and in this essay, I will explain my stance.
Cities and towns should build huge external public spaces because it can make dwellers more social. To explain, mega-cities often have less parks or other gathering spots due to which people spend most of their times indoors, and if there are such sites, then they are far away from their homes; as a result, lack of humans’ interaction make them less gregarious. For example, some surveys suggest that public, who meet each other on daily basis are more friendly and social. Therefore, if there are more public sites, then people will be more civil.
In addition, if there are more museums, then it can be knowledgeable for residents, especially for pupils. Many art-centers have unique antiques, which dated back centuries and can be useful for history learners. If students pay visit to such places, it will not only enhance their knowledge but also open their minds regrading previous cultures. For example, numerous government have opened old-houses for university’s pupils with the aim to make their lessons easy.
Some people might say that instead of spending money on such place, better to supply health related facilities to public. It is true that peoples’ robustness should be on top, but if there are more parks, where public can do exercise, then there will be less infectious diseases.
To sum up, authorities should build large outdoor public areas because it will make folks more civic and will be handy for students. I personally feel that if there are more gathering spots, public will feel relaxed because such places are out of noise pollution compare to other parts of the city.
