It is believed by some individuals that foreign films and TV programs are better for a country’s culture. While other think that people have to make films themselves for saving their culture. However, foreign films can be detrimental in some cases, such as destroying local culture, I believe that both aspects play a crucial role in film industry.
On the one hand, one primary benefit of importing foreign movies is that this practice fosters learning opportunities. That is because humans can learn different cultures which makes them flexible and helps them to easily cope with various cultural people. As a consequence, it assists us to broaden our understanding of culture. For example, we can gather a comprehensive idea of american food habit, dress collections from a hollywood movie. Another implicit benefit is unlimited entertainment sources availability. In addition, people can receive a wide range of entertainment sources, resulting in accessible leisure activities, and they can decided what kind of movies they really want to watch.
On the other hand, making local movies have several advantages, such as leading local culture, drives regional film industries. Moreover, in order to save cultural songs, drancs, traditional story, they should make local films. Furthermore, without making films, local film industry may fall into trouble, which may play a negative impact on country’s economy.
In conclusion. Although importing foreign movies have a plethora of benefits, I would like to emphasize that both are important. Consequently, governments should maintain balance between both of them.
