Nowadays, due to the rapid modernization,national culture is gradually losing its inherent values. Some individuals think that people today don’t care about preserving the customs of their nation or area. Others think that maintaining a traditional way of life is still significant to people. Therefore, I will analyze both opinions in favor of the first viewpoint.
On the one hand,it is common belief that technology dominate the leisure time of young people. It is true that technology are gradually affecting humans life especially youngsters who follow the global trends for no reason. Furthermore, young people prefer eating exotic foriegn foods than traditional recipes. For example, in my country,they would rather eat fast foods such as BBQ,hamburgers,hotdogs.
On the other hand,instead of pursue the globalization, the cultural values are preserved in many crucial ways. For instance,the performances of traditional forms of music became more widely thanks to the singers,which inspired many of today’s global pop stars. Moreover, I firmly believe it is our obligation to have something to pass on to further generations from their ancestors. Everyone has a right to have something left from their background.
In conclusion, as far as I am concerned, it is significant to endeavor to perceive national customs and traditions to honor our previous generations and to conserve the original authenticity of an area.
