The development of AI and technology is making huge impacts on studying experiences. It is believe that this may help students to learn more effectively, however; some people stated that it can lead to low attention span and decreased productivety. This essay will discuss those pros and cons and show that technology could enhace studying process if used properly.
Technology such as AI or machines are better than teacher in multitasking, they could cover students lessons in smaller amount of time. Furthermore, they could analyze students ability through statistics in order to give them the best teaching methods. This does not only helps students to learn better but also boosts their confidence as it helps students dealing with their weaknesses. In addition, technology could close the gaps between teachers and students, since most students now are used to the appearance of AI and machines in their lives. By using this feature, students are able to gain knowledge and learn other social skills, simultaneously.
In contrast, technology could lead to some consequences if is not used properly, especiallly in teaching and studying. Firstly, students are easier to be distract, with less controlling by the teachers and more technology devices around them, they could be attracted by the various sounds and visuals from those devices. If this problem is not treated properly, students could even be addicted to the technology, which results in worse performance, decreasing attention span and inappropriate behaviour. Secondly, with the increase in the use of technology and less interactions with human, students could sometimes suffer from mental conditions such as anxiety or depression.
In conclusion, the use of technology in education is potential and expected to positively change the way students study. This move would work best if the technology is used properly to avoid unwanted consequences.
