Band 5+: Some countries are inroducing laws for limiting working hours of employees. Why they are doing that? What do you think is it a positive development or negative?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

New legal rules have been introduced in several countries for restricting employee working hours. In this essay, I will examine the prime factors for that development, and give my own percpective.

A majority of the workers are suffering from a variety of disorders nowadays. Undertaking an excessive number of working hours is a major aspect in causing physical and mental diseases, such as muscle resistance, insufficient amount of energy, and mood to begin and proceed a new day, stress, and lack of motivation for professions they are contributing in. Because, they work every day for more than nine hours in order to survive, and supporting their personal expenses with the efficient income, and this is a major contributing factor for individuals not realising what is happening in their bodies. So, a government is applying these kind of laws for cutting down the number of health issues and its severeness.

In my opinion, this is a reliable and positive development for both employees and employers. After an implementation of these laws, workers’ lives would be not only a much more elating but also less stressful. For example, the scientists reported that, a quality of work will be higher, and more superior if the employees spend their spare time on actvities they are interested in compared to who only works on the daily routine wihout any relaxation.

In conclusion, an increase of illneses caused by too much working hours have influenced some governments, and nations to create the new legal rules. Furthermore, these developments are going to be truly positive fot the one who used to overwork.
