Some experts belive in the fact that after the upsurge development of online communication , people are never said to be alone or be without a friend. It seems that anybody can be friends with anyone with the help of online communication. I partially disagree with the fact that even though there is a recent boom in online communication that simply doesn’t imply that anybody would be able to make friends.
On that note, Due to the recent rise of social media applications people nowadays have many friends online. In addition to that introverts people who doesn’t like to communicate or doesn’t have enough confidence or courage to talk to other people can easily communicate with people online. For instance ,one can skype or call their friends anytime anywhere around the globe and can easily communicate with them on daily basis also introverts can communicate people via text which eventually boost their confidence and they could go out into the real world not worrying about their communicating skills. Making new friends is relatively easier as one can have common traits with other which could easily lead to their friendship
On the contrary, Eventhough people have thousands of friends online they rarely talk only them . Online communication like social media applications prefers quantity over quality . Due to online communication even if we could talked anytime with our loved ones at the end of the day we would still be alone just by ourself. Even after making friends online some people have the tendency to never trust them leading to the end of their friendship . It is also relatively easy for people to break their online friendship . Cyber- bullying plays a vital role in why people are scared to go online to make new friends.
To sum up , There are many advantages of making friends online but with it also comes many drawbacks . Even if people makes several friends online but after logging off the computer or any other device one is alone by themselves .
