Band 5+: Some feel governments, rather than private companies, should be in charge of medical services. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Some people think that health services should be run by governments, rather than private ones. This essay agrees with this statement and gives two factors in this text.First of all, private companies are usually overpriced for the health services and secondly the government may control the quality of all health services.

Firstly,a lot of private health centres are overpricing many health services.Governments could stabilise the price for every service and create a stable market for this area.Obviously, they have social projects for the citizens and public state treasury. These factors can easily decrease a price for the health services and people can frequently visit doctors in hospitals. For instance,in the USA private companies take 500-1000 dollars for one visit to a dentist without insurance. That shows how much money people can save for other stuff.

Secondly, the government would manage the health hospitals quality of services and equipment. In other words, they can set the standard requirement for every hospital and send the commissions once in one month for checking them. Moreover, clients would not pay a business, they will pay for a government. That means the money will be distributed to develop equipment in the medical centers and the quality will rise up rapidly. For example,a lot of nations have a government hospitals more than private clinics and they have a quality of medicine much higher than their.

In conclusion, this essay clearly believes that the government should be managing the health services, rather than private clinics.Main factors for this statement is the overpricing by private companies and better quality after being controlled by the government.
