Overwhelmingly vast number of goods and services are introduced introduced into the market virtually every other day, necessitating the need for diverse advertising strategies in order to capture the attention of potential buyers. As a result, some organisations have resorted to utilising methods that rather appalling in modern day society. This has been a cause of concern for me in recent times.
One of these morally decadent innovations is the use of almost nude women as brand ambassadors for their products who serve as baits to draw unsuspecting clients to the products being showcased. This would have been unimaginable a few decades ago. Another manipulative formula is the use of carefully edited pictures of nearly flawless celebrities to promote skincare products. This lures persons with desires to attain the so-called ‘glass skin’ to fall prey to these scavengers.
On the other hand, a number of companies are still relying on more sane methods to captivate customers to procure their goods and services, thus making profits that may culminate in thousands of dollars.
To conclude, although several industries embrace socially unacceptable advertisement models to enhance their sales nowadays, a good number of others still amass huge income from decent strategies.
