Some families think it is important for their children to be the very best at anything they do, while other families feel it is more important that the children try their best. This essay will discuss both viewpoints, although it is my opinion that it is best to allow children to try hard.
On the one hand, being the very best at all the things children can do might help them gain a number of benefits. It is believed that those children have the ability to tolerate any hardships that they would probably experience in their life. This is because being the best requires good foundation of knowledge and skills. Furthermore, children doing everything well are supposed to live a happier life and more successful than others as they are respected for their wisdom in all the things they do.
On the other hand, it could be better to try as hard as possible than being the best at everything. If parents don’t force their children to achieve the first place in all fields, children will certainly not witness any psychological issues such as depression or peer pressure. Encouraging children to try their best instead of becoming the best is to put them at ease and make no needless pressure on them. Which would allow children to have opportunities to try new things in distinctive fields. In other words, this gives children a chance to broaden their horizons and figure out exactly their strengths in order to enhance their ability in one particular field.
