Band 6+: Some parents give their children everything that their children ask for or allow them to do whatever they want to do. Is this good for children? What could be consequences for these children when they grow up?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

It is widely recognized that some parents accept everything thier children hope and let them do what they want. In my opinion, such ways of raising children have significantly negative impacts on children in the long run, because they will not become enough tolerant to difficulties and find it challenging to build close connection with others.

It is true that such child raising is effective for parents, since they can easily treat problems, such as when their children cry due to being refused their hope. However, it makes the children difficult to develop abilities to overcome difficulties, because they may not have experienced the situations where their hopes are not accepted. Another drawback of this way of bringing up children is that children will take the cases where their seek always come true for granted, which will make them more selfish. As a resut, it is less likely for them to build mutual relationships with others, as they do not pay enough attention to others.

Consequently, children cannot develop the abilities to overcome challenges. Thus abilities are essential to be a membor of society. Hence, such people may struggle when they become an adult. Additionally, it is possibility that people who were brought up in this way will fallow it, which will affect the next generations in forming personalities.

In conclusion, allowing children to do what they ask for affects them in terms of personalities, resulting in the lack of skills to address problems and poor connections with others. Therefore, I believe that parents should be stick to their children.
