While some mothers and fathers consider childcare centers as the most rational option for their nursery-age children, others would argue that relatives, such as grandmothers or grandfathers, can better take care of children. However, I believe that parents should entrust their children to childcare centers rather than family members because minors can develop their social skills and have more quality time there.
The primary reason why some believe that relatives should attend to children while their parents are at work because family members can establish a safer environment for children. In other words, some children are exposed to bullying by their classmates and the consequences of this commitment might be rather long-lasting, in contrary, kin has compassion for children, and therefore, they prioritize children’s need while they are looking after them. For example, In China, a five-year-old kid was killed by their classmates by hitting a solid object against his head. However, I am in favor of that, violence can break out in every realm of life and if children are taught about appropriate reactions against violence, they do not have to be isolated from society.
On the other hand, others believe that youngsters should be sent to nurseries because they support children’s cognitive and physical development and make them familiar to subjects that they will encounter later in their educational life. That is to say that, children are encouraged to do a large number of beneficial activities, such as painting, playing a musical instrument, or attending a drama and children acquire some crucial skills that enable them to be one step ahead of other children in life. For instance, a child who went to a nursery is more prone to be successful in school subjects, such as music, art, or physical education. I therefore believe that childcare centers are the best places for preschoolers because they lead peer-learning and also children develop their social skills by spending quality time with their peers.
In conclusion, family members are only capable to provide fundamental needs and supply a cozy environment for children, however, childcare centers progress children in a multitude of ways by engaging in them with wide range of activities.
