Some mothers and fathers believe that daycare centers offer superior services for nursery-aged children while others would argue that relatives are a better option to entrust children. I believe that although grandparents provide a lovely and safe environment for children, minors should be sent to nurseries because their cognitive, physical, and social skills are supported by activities.
The primary reason why people tend to hand over their children to their family members, such as grandparents or siblings, is that close relations supply a secure and cozy environment for their children. In other words, family members are as compassionate as parents of children, and therefore, they always prioritize minors’ needs. For example, grandmothers usually cook their grandchildren’s favorite food. However, even though children can find a peaceful environment while they are with their relatives, they mostly spend their time doing unproductive activities, such as watching TV and consuming junk food.
On the other hand, creches are considered the most rational choice for caring for offspring because they are engaged in various activities that promote their progress in a multitude of ways. That is to say that, kids are encouraged to attend plentiful beneficial activities in a nursery, including playing a musical instrument, painting, or taking a role in a drama. Consequently, their fine and gross motor skills, cognitive development, and predisposition for later education progress. For instance, In Turkey, children who went to a childcare center outperformed compared to their peers who did not go to a nursery. I, therefore, believe that youths ought to be sent to preschool because these places enable peer learning and stronger social skills.
In conclusion, while relatives set up peaceful places for children, they are only capable of making them happy, however, children are guided by professional educators and participate in several beneficial activities in daycare centers.
