Homework is the one of essential aspects of students. Some parents said assisting their children on their work is beneficial, while others feel that children should do their own assignments. In my view, both arguments have advantages and disadvantages, so I partially agree with both statements.
On the one hand, the assignments from school is the one aspect that enable stronger relationships between members in family. When their children do their homework, parents can explore and observe children, therefore parents come to assist and advise them on their homework by using their own experience. Moreover, it would make children feel free to ask their parents to help them when they are in tough time. For instance, when I was a pupil, if I can’t answering my homework or obstacles in work, I would run to my parents to help me and they would give me some advices because my parents make a good atmosphere to make me feel cozy with them since I was young.
On the other hand, pupils who work on their own, they would learn by their own experience. Therefore, they would aware what is the worst and what is the great aspect. If the children do the homework by their own, they would understand all their work and also remember the thing they did. However, sometimes pupils would need the adult to advise them in the good ways. For example, if pupils were do the assignments by themselves, when they get the examination, they would remember and remind their homework and it enables to reduce time in study.
In conclusion, I think that both perspectives have advantages and disadvantages, nonetheless the both aspects are assisting the children to growth up to be a better adult in future.
