Band 6+: Some people argue that it is the government's responsibility to transport children to school while others believe that parents should do that. Discuss both views and give your opinion

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, it is widely believed that government is responsible for transportation of children to educational institutions, while other individuals oppose this by arguing that children should be transported by their parents. Although I agree that government should provide school buses to save adults’ time, I also think that this should be agreed by both sides.

On the one hand, supporting parents by reducing their time spent on children transporation on daily basis can reduce stress among adults. Office workers can save around an hour every day, which enlarges the amount of time to get prepared to work. In the United States, for example, school buses that transport minors directly from their home to school are available for free. This is seen as a safe solution for parents, as children are managed by special workers. As a result, adults are able to work better and develop job career, supported by high salary without caring too much about children.

One the another hand, the modern world requires much more time from employees to spend at work. This limits time spent with family members, so now parents, who are constantly at work, do not have enough time to make a conversation with their children. This can negatively affect emotional bond between family members. However, sitting in one car two times a day can give members a plenty of chances to talk to each other. For instance, citizens of Vietnam transport their children to school every morning, which makes stronger connection in a family.

In conclusion, this is important for the government to encourage workers by saving their personal time. Nevertheless, in that case, the emotional bond between parents and children can weaken. That is why the choice to either transport children or not should be offered to parents by the government .
