It is often argued that building more sports facilities is the best method to enhance public physical and mental well-being, however others claim that this strategy is not enough to support all residents’ health and that other measurable options are required.
Although sports facilities can be effective, I believe that this way is limited to reach a majority of people. We need more effective measures to include a large number of individuals.
On the one hand, a sport facilities could be beneficial for people who do sports. There are a significant number of people not engaging in sports, so this way is hard to access overall residents’ well-being. Furthermore, attending formal sport facilities require a considerable amount of time due to fact that individuals who have a busy lifestyle might not be available to spend some time. In addition, if facilities is located far from their home, it would become more challenging to access this opportunity. For instance, many people struggle to go to the facilities during rush hours and weekdays. As a result, a few people tend to attend sport facilities consistently.
On the other hand, there are other strategies to affect more people’s physical and mental well-being than new sport facilities. One of the more effective ways based on people’s circumstances is to build new exercise equipment around the park of all buildings. It is mainly because people could access to exercise in devices that can provide them to strengthen their bodies. For instance, in Mongolia, a significant number of people can do exercise easily outside their home without spending a considerable amount of time to reach there.
In conclusion, although building new sport facilities could encourage people to do exercise, it is difficult to include a significant number of people and it required expenses of a valuable number of time. Therefore, it is better to put more devices in the park, which people would access easily and more conveniently to improve their well-being.
