Children are considered as the vanguard of the nation and how they should be raised is a debatable issues.A few ratio of individuals have a mindset that juveniles should be exposed to physical torturement while others opine, constant appreciation is a key for their progressive behavior. According to me ,these arguments requires proper scrutinization before forming an opinion.
To embark on, there are several pros of conferring rewards to children.first of all, appreciation and verbal praise can have a magical impact on the behavior of the children because when they are appreciated for food conduct they come to know the value of decency and courtesy. On the other hand, children who are subjected to physical torturement are seen with alack of self confidence as the more they are with negative comments and behavior ,the more they feel inferer. To examplyfy ,a survey conducted on the behavior of the children revealed that a child explosed to punity of action by teachers and parents is more aggressive and furious than others of his age. Hence, bittings to a child can never be a fruitful.
On the other hand, when we punish children then they try not to show such behaviors . Punishment decreases such behaviors because when juveniles are punished for undesirable behaviors then due to fear they try to behave in decent manner. Children who are not punished for their unwanted behaviors are likely to show such behaviors time and again because they didn’t have a fear of punishment. For instance, Behaviorist B.F skinner says that punishment helps to decreases the unwanted behaviors of children.
To conclude, children are tender birds and nurturing them is really a major responsibility. Therefore a fair judgement on the behavior of children is required for a good upbringing
