People hold different views about whether children should be allowed to use their phones during the school day. While it is argued that children shoud be allowed to use their phones, I agree with those who believe that phones should be banned to use.
On the one hand, mobile phones bring several advantages to students when they were in school. Firstly, it helps them to search for learning materials. If there is one problem that they do not understand, children can google and find the answer as well as the explanation. Secondly, it is a souce of entertainment during breaktime at school. Children can play games and listen to music, which help them relax after stressful classes.
On the other hand, I would agree with those believe that children should be banned from using their phones during the school day as it has detrimental influence to them. Taking phones during school day may lessen study effectiveness of students. Instead of focusing on the lesson, children may use their phone to play game ad scroll on Facebook, Tiktok leading to poor perfomances in the exam. Furthermore, It promote a sedentary lifestyle as children may just sit in one place using their phone instead participating other activities outside the class. For instance, a recent study show that the number of exercise hour in students whichs have their phone was significantly lower than those who do not own one.
in conclusion, although it is argued that children shoud be allowed to use their phones as it helps them to study, I agree that this shoud be banned because it have several negative effect on children.
