In general, managing money is essential skill for children. Advocates strongly embrace that this kind of skill has to be learned by children at school; skeptic, however, oppose such an idea. In my opinion, dealing with money is crucial skill that can be learned at school, for some reasons.
To begin, teaching children how to manage money can be beneficial to them for encouraging children to save money. It cannot be denied that today’s trends already encouraged people to be more consuming. If this condition still continue to our next generations, the poverty issues can be hardly to avoid. Thus, by teaching pupils for handling money at school can encourage them to save money, instead spending money. For example, multiple articles in the US stated that more than 50% of citizens in the UK had to face poverty issues due to lack of perspective for savings and the high level of consuming. Additionally, this condition was compounded by the government raising taxes. As a result, several citizens in the UK suffered for prime needs, such as eating and drinking. Therefore, there is no doubt that learning how to save money for children at school is crucial.
There is no doubt that students have to be knowledgeable for managing income and outcome for the future purposes. It is undeniable that schooling is the place where children can enhance their potential. However, more than half school in the world did not introduce a fundamental knowledge regarding how to manage income and outcome. To address this situation, it is essential for some schooling to introduce children this skill due to some reasons. First, by learning managing skill, children can be knowledgeable how to handle self-incomes and outcomes in the future . Second, managing money also teaches children the basic point of management that can be used for their future career, such as managing time in workplace. Hence, management money is crucial skill for children to handle with their own funding. For instance, multiple journals in the US stated that more than 60% children who learned how to manage money had a big amount of income that counted them as a wealthy people. Otherwise, other groups of children without management skill had a consuming habit that encouraged them to be not productive in workspace and the level of losing jobs was higher, compared to other groups. As a result, it was necessary for teacher teaching children management skill immediately. Thus, managing money can produce some positive points for future careers.
In conclusion, learning how to manage money at school is essential. Although children can learn this anywhere, teaching by professional people, such as teachers, can be beneficial for young generation to be knowledgeable more deeply that can result in saving habit and managing income and outcome.
