Although some people think that juveniles should spend more time in studying to enhance their performance and increase their marks, others believe that children have to exploit this time in playing to acquire new skills and to meet new friends; however, I am a staunch believer that playing is dispensable to gain new skills like problem solving skills.
On the one hand, going to extra classes after school plays a vital role in increasing the productivity of many students, since they can learn more information. In other words, it is clear that students who spend more time in studying tend to achieve high marks than other pupils. For instance, in Japan, nearly 75% of the japanese alumni went to extra courses to rise their performance at school. Thus, some people like to send their offspring to attend extra classes to help them to meet the expectation.
On the other hand, playing is very beneficial to children as it helps them to meet new friends. Moreover, it is very effective to learn new skills such as critical thinking and problem solving skills. Thereby, by playing many minors can improve their experience, then they would function as good members of society. According to a research paper conducted in the UK, the minors who spent enough time in playing tend to be more intelligent than others. Thus, playing is the panacea to reinforce the skills of many juveniles, since it positively affects their skills.
With regard to me, I think that pupils should not spend extra time in studying, as playing is the elementary source of information to the vast majority of children.
In conclusion, many people think that children have to dedicate the majority of their time in studying to improve their performance, whereas others say that playing is much more important, as it helps them to learn new essential skills. However, I agree with the last opinion because playing is the first source of learning in terms of many children.
