Nowdays many believe that spending resources on arts is not a proper way of allocating budget and suggest to use this money on other crucial sectors.
Art has always been an integral feature in humanity’s life as it provides uniqe merits. Art is one of few ways to protect our history and cultures, and can preserves historical heritages of specific place inside itself. By studying art one is able to gain knowledge about our forefathers. In addition, art has the ability of attracting people as human’s mind constantly seeks beauty that can be found in it. Therefore, museums can bring about economical benefits for a nation. All of this points to the importance of supporting art and relative association.
On the other hands many people claim that art is not an essential aspect of our lives as one might face more crucial issues such as healthcare or education. These problems, comparing to art, have higher priority because they are far more effective on the quality of a society. The solution to this lies in striking a balance. While the government should pay attention to crucial sectors such as social well-being, an adequately portion of budget should be dedicated to art.
Although many people complain about wasting money on art and suggest to use this money on more important thing, I believe that art is an essential part in any society and by creating a balance, governments should allocate a proper budget to art.
