Talking about safety reasons, some people agree with governments that governments should have access to people’s smartphone both call records and messages. On the opposite, some people argue that information is privacy that no one cannot have a look without permission. It will be better if in some cases that governments have access to people’s smartphone but in general they have no access.
In this digital era, all the information is available on people’s phone, by having access to people’s gadget, the governments can realise a crime shortly. For example, someone might sell drugs to others, because governments have access to the phone, as a result they can catch them as soon as possible.
Everyone has a privacy space that no one cannot see that. As far as I know, it is a civil right. For instance, I am twenty four years old, I usually message my friend about our secret, if the governments have an access to our devices, there is no secret anymore in the country.
In my opinion, initial state is governments has no access to people’s device but in certain case they have access to people’s device. For example, if the governments find out a suspicious activity with proofs, they can have access to those people’s device for ensuring the case.
In conclusion, both perspective has positive side but it will be better if we take a win-win solution. Initial state, governments should have no access to people’s device but if needed in some cases with the right aim, they should have an access for a moment.
