Some Individuals deem that obesity can be tackled by means of government policies such as investing for healthy selection and taxes on junk food. From my perspective, I completely concur with this notion and I shall set out to explain my opinion and provide the convincing reason in this following essay.
Undeniably, the deemed benefit has eased people’s ability to alleviate unhealthy food by incentivizing healthy options. It is simply that the government has adopted a mentality tactic on citizens through taxes that makes it become more expensive than healthy food, as the humans usually tend to select what is more inexpensive. Thereby, being able to significantly cut down on the account of utilizing fast food. Besides, it also contributes to increasing the national budget on providing academic fields. In other words, the money from tax collection will be reasonably allocated to the pedagogical healths and advanced medical devices. For example, the government will utilize money from tax to organize the program to disseminate the harm of unhealthy food such as fast foods and sugary drinks as well as a way of deterrent to everyone.
Nevertheless, it is converse that also has some drawbacks of this proposal. Primarily, this issue can seriously influence the poor people as it is a means of meat for them. In fact, fast food is usually a go-to choice for lunch for almost everyone, especially in staff offices. Thereby, making the surge of family finance from creating a demerit to some have a low salary. According to experts, the number of families which have a low salary usually takes up a higher rate. Moreover, adopting taxes on food can result in a negative impact with the produstrial areas. For instance, should the country adopt an elevated taxes on sugar production, not only will it excessively lose to produstrical areas but it also does harm to the evolution of the nation.
From these opinions, while implementing taxes on unhealthy food can effectively assist the government to reduce the capability of obesity, it might not guarantee the eradication of rool. Undoubtedly, we should have the go-to solution to deal with this matter more effectively.
