There are differing views on whether children should go to school at an early age or begin their formal education later. Although starting school when they are older may help some children become more emotionally stable, I believe entering school earlier has greater benefits.
One major benefit of going to school at an early age is that it can enable children to interact with others from a young age. Children can boost their communication and social skills by participating in a variety of school activities Consequently, they can not only become more sociable but also gain confidence in building relationships. In addition, children can build close relationships with people outside their families and form meaningful friendships by going to school earlier. These days, children have few opportunities to meet people their own age in person compared to the past. Some children may become isolated if their parents do not have enough time and engergy to give them opportunities to socialize with other children in the local comumunity. However, when they go to school, they can naturally meet and make friends.
On the other hand, entering school when they are older can provide children with emotional stability. Each child grows at a different pace. Therefore, forcing them to enter school at a young age can place considerable pressure on those who are not ready to be separated from their parents, which can negatively affect their development. In contrast, starting school later can allow children to receive sufficient emotional support from their parents until they are mature enough to adapt to a school environment.
In conclusion, delaying school entry is helpful for children in terms of emotional stability. Nonetheless, I believe starting formal schooling early can benefit children by boosting their social skills and encouraging them to make friends.
