There are many issues that happens on road, such as traffic jam, and accidents. Nowadays, it is often argued that government should focus on more public transportation, whilst others disagree and think that improving road structure is a better solution to reduce traffic congestion. This essay agrees that improving road can lead to decrease in traffic issues.
Government should focus on how to improve a better road for every users, even pedestrians. This is because a good road structure is the major factor that it brings many benefits to users. For example, in Thailand, there are many accidents that occurs from a hole on a road. This because of government lacks in maintaining a road that can leads car users and pedestrians are in danger. After there are better roads, then government can focus on public transportaioon. Therefore, goverment should start from building or improving a better road structure for everyone’s safety.
However, many people still believe investing in public transportation is a better choice to reduce traffic congestion. Eventhough, having better public transportation can reduce air pollution, or traffic jam, and also help in global warming, there is no guaruntee that everyone will safe. Because of a road structure was not improved. For instance, there are better buses or trains, but a road was unstructured, car users and pedestrians still in danger due to a road is unmaintained. This essay disagrees that government will take public transportation is the main factor to reduce traffic congesion.
In conclusion, while the benefits of improving a better road structure can lead road users safe from danger and reduce traffic issue, some still think that public transportation is significant to improve immediately. However, as long as a road is in good structure, the the government can consider to improve public transportation in the next plan or in the future.
