Some individuals hold the belief that free libraries should be in every town on the contrary some citizen opine that it is wasteful to built libraries as everyone has the head of knowledge which is internet. In this essay I intend to analyze both perspectives. Personally I am in the favor of the former view.
On the one hand, there are man reason why some people prefer libraries. Firstly, they can find professional librarians can offer people professional advices and direct them what they need. Librarians can give people authentic advices on which type of books will be their cup of tea. Moreover, there are many libraries that offer free internet not everyone has internet access at their home. Secondly, there are many students wo earn money by working at the libraries as a part time alongside their studies.
On the other hand, there are many reasons given by those who say that free libraries is not needed in this era of technology. To begin with, there are thousands of sources that offer a vast information. People can read book from anywhere to anytime for instance, when they are at the bus ,shopping, hospital etc. As everyone knows that how easy it is to gather anything from internet even newspapers are also available online. E-books is the large source of online books. Online books also provide the internet vibrant image videos audios related to books. To end with, there are also audiobooks which are especially made for deaf people.
I firmly believe that it is imperative to build more and more libraries as we already know that the interest of study is already decreasing gradually. Students not even reading their academic books let alone non-academic books. Everyone is obsessed with their mobile phone if the number of libraries start becoming extinguishing then it will lead a dangerous result. For example: I used to read eBooks now I have to wear sunglass because I kept looking at screen for a long time and that dangerous blue ray cause harm to my eyes. But now I read books at library which really make the perfect atmosphere for reading.
To sum up, education is the backbone of a nation and government should not rely on online sources as they are mostly false government should promote the benefits of libraries.
