The government has to focus more on environmental protection than economic growth. Some people agree about that activity, while others disagree. Below, i will discuss for these issues and give own opinion.
Environmental protection is done by the government, which involves some rules, programs, and actions that can protect and fix some environments and also reduce the negative impact on ecosystems and humans. For example, the government regulates the environment for managing industry activities, agriculture, and construction, which obeys the rules. Furthermore, the government provides the rule to manage natural resources such as water, land, and forests regularly, as well as control illegal logging and manage national parks. Additionally, investing in green technology can reduce environmental pollution, increase positive energy, and reduce waste.
However, economic growth done by the government is the way to improve economic activities in an area. This activity involves many rules, programs, and actions that increase productivity, create employment, and increase people’s finances. For instance, the government uses fiscal regulation, like the management of taxes, to increase economic and public activities. Additionally, giving endorsement to some sectors is good because it gives many benefits for economic growth, like technology, creative industries, agriculture, and tourism, from tax, donations, or workforce training.
In my opinion, both sides of the issue can cooperate to have a positive impact on people. However, I tend to think the government should prioritize environmental protection early because, without it, economic growth will not grow well.
To conclude, both environmental protection and economic growth can provide mutual benefits for people. The government has to understand these issues and cooperate with the private sector, civil society, and international institutes to solve them.
