Education is a very essential thing for society to progress. Some people think that goverments should give free education for every individuals, while other people believe that education cost should be bore by the students. In my opinion, there are advantages in both points of view but I think free education is more better.
On one hand, free education can be benefit everyone. First of all, it allows poor families to send their children to school without worrying about the expenses. For instance, in countries where education is free like Finland, the rate of literacy is very high. Secondly, free education encourages more people to study further because they don’t need to work early to pay tuition fees. This will result in a more educated workforce in the future.
On the other hand, some people says that students should pay for their education. They believe it makes students more responsible since they value the education that they payed for. Also, goverment resources are limited and should be used for other sectors like healthcare or infrastructure. If everyone get free education, taxes will be increased, which might cause problem for the economy.
In conclusion, although free education can help many people and improve the society, it also has its challenges like economic burden on the goverment. However, I still believe it is a good investment in the future and should be provided at least at the basic levels.
