There is a belief, which certain people follow in their lives, that states high salary is more important than having enjoyable work. I think that is a big misconception, and I am not going to follow it in future.
No amount of money is going to satisfy you. You can be a billionaire and get high pay checks every month, and still feel miserable. Because irritation and stress will eat you on the inside, sooner or later numbers on your bank account won’t matter. Constant dissatisfaction will affect your personal life. Build up anger and pressure will find another ways to escape, for example through friends and family. So everybody is going to suffer, and it’s not great.
Another thing I can’t comprehend is how are you will be able to work in something you completely hate, especially when you are spending most of your lifetime at work. I think it’s better to spend your valuable time doing something that comes from your heart, and even get money for it. As humans, to us it’s more important to have an enjoyable lifestyle simply because, with a smile on your face everything will be brighter and problems are going to be solved smoothly.
In conclusion,I think your everyday mental state is more valuable than a banknote with many zeros. There is no need to make such a fuss about money as with passion your professionalism will come, and a higher salary corresponding.
