Throughout the decades, human relations in modern society have changed a lot. In recent times, according to some people, including me, individuals are becoming more independent in modern society, while others believe that individuals are becoming more dependent on each other.
To begin with, it is crystal clear that a high percentage of people are still dependent on their parents. The primary reason for this, the inflation of the earned money over the period. In other words, the amount of money which people earn has increased, but the value of the products has rosen more, resulting in difficulties for buying own properties. For example, the generation before could afford to buy a real estate easily because the price of real estates were affordable, however, recent generations are not able to do that. Thus, most of them are becoming financially dependent on their families and living in their parents house. But is this the whole truth though?
In the 20th century, after the diplomatic revolution, societies have began to preserve human rights more than ever. Individuals became able to live on their own; in other words, the slavery system got destroyed and people can live for their own desire. In the USA, there were a lot of slaves from various African countries, and they were carried there just to work for nothing in return and they were dependent on their masters. While, thanks to modern societies and rising awareness of human rights, that system has vanished and people have become to live independently.
To conclude, although some think that due to some financial problems that accrued in modern times people are becoming more dependent on each other, under no circumstances would I believe that because of modern societies, individuals are becoming more dependent than they were before. With the help of modern mindsets of people, people have become more independent than they ever were.
