According to some, international tourism has a significant effect on many countries, conversely another group of people suppose that detrimental aspects of global tourism are far more than its advantages. I opine that, adverse sides of this trend are more than positive effects.
On the one hand, worldwide tourism is a preferable choice for economic and social development of each country. Firstly, international traveling gives a privilege to earn huge amount of money by tourists. The more people from other nations go for touristic places every season, the more many and status are accepted by government which is a significant benefit for progression. Secondly, foreign travel is the best attitude to represent cultural heritages to worldwide. Languages, customs, traditions and history of nation are acknowledged by tourists who come from different countries through transnational tourism. To give a prime example, the last research from Bangladesh indicates that after international traveling the percentage of reading the history books about this nation has increased approximately 18%. Thus, international tourism sector offers various benefits to governments both economically and socially; however, I view global travel may cause some dangerous issues which are more rather than pros.
On the other hand, proponents of second statement believe that foreign tourism creates some problems which are harmful for society and nature of a rural area. Mostly, tourists neglect to protect environment of a traveled country and pollute nature. Visitors have passions to observe a historical place and fascinated picturesque, not doing actions for preserve them. For example, people who come for traveling are tend to pollute nature by garbage, useless things and foods. Furthermore, tourists could make a chaos between community of urban areas. Customs, behaviors, languages and appearances of foreigners affect the population of touristic fields. Urban population endure these cultural differences regardless their intentions. If any areas endorses traditional diversity enormously, citizens even would lost their languages and traditions, which is the most negative side of international travelling.
In conclusion, despite transnational tourism offers several benefits to countries, some sides of this phenomenon are detrimental and exceed their benefits.
