Learning a new language has always been considered a difficult task for an individual. I Partially agree with this notion and in this essay, I will present my opinion on this topic.
On the one hand, with the development in the science and technology. It has become easy for an individual to assess the online and in person (free and paid courses) to learn multiple language. As a result, an individual does not have to leave their family, home and jobs in their native country in order to settle in the new country to learn their language. The best example of the online platform to learn the different languages is Duolingo as one can learn any language at anywhere in the world through the app. Moreover, it significantly impacts the expenses of an individual. Staying in our own country can help you in cutting out the cost to be spent on settling in the new country and moving expenses. The overall cost that a person has to pay is only their education free.
On the contrast, the proponents to this view believe that it is beneficial for an individual to travel to the other country to learn their native language. Studying in the different country will provide you with a sense of a real environment where the teachers and students are more experienced and professional in teaching and communicating than the one in your own country. Consequently, it will make the individual to learn faster and effectively. For example, in many of the European countries, it is easy to learn their language as the native people focus on communicating in their own language rather than using English, the global language. Ultimately, making it necessity and easier for the learners to learn their desired language faster for the communication.
In my opinion, I think that it depends upon an individual learning style and efficiency. If an individual is a better learner using the online courses or in person training in their country, then he should opt to stay at his homeland and study the language eventually saving the cost of moving. For those who learn better with the experience and practicing should travel to the other country as it will provide them with real environment of learning improving their learning abilities.
