Many people believe that being self-employed is better than working for a company due to the flexibility it offers and the freedom to choose tasks. However, I disagree with this belief, as being self-employed is often much harder than being an employee.
From my perspective, being self-employed isn’t necessarily better because income can be unstable, and clients or customers are not guaranteed. This means that our earnings depend on the availability and consistency of clients. In contrast, when working for a company, salaries tend to remain stable, as the company pays us directly. I have a friend who is self-employed, and I witnessed the stress he faced when he did not earn any money in a given month due to the difficulty of securing clients. On the other hand, a friend who works for a company seems much happier and experiences far less stress, as her income is stable and her salary remains constant or even increases each month.
In conclusion, I believe that working for a company is generally better because it provides a more stable life compared to self-employment. With a regular job, we can save more each month without the constant worry of fluctuating income.
