In modern society, some individuals think that a country can achieve financial sucess while maintaining a clean environment, while others argue the opposite side. In my opinion, I believe that it is possible for a country to have successful finance and a clean environment.
On the one hand, others believe that a country can achieve both economic prosperity and a clean environment because governments may invest heavily in renewable energy systems such as solar and wind power. Using this energy may reduce pollution and mitigate climate change which are largely caused by the use of fossil fuels. Moreover, governments can develop waste- treatment systems and public transport projects, which minimize pollution caused waste and vehicles emissions.
On the other hand, some individuals believe it is impossible for a country to obtain both financial success and a green environment. If countries are developing, they tend to prioritize economic growth to create more job opportunities and improve living standards for citizens. Additionally, economic development often relies significantly on the construction sector, which means they need to construct more buildings. Furthermore, companies that contribute to economic development also rely excessively on fossil fuels, which may minimize production cost effectively. As a result, countries may struggle to achieve both objectives and may have to sacrifice environmental protection in favour of economic growth. However, I believe that it is possible for a country to achieve financial success while maintaining a clean environment, but governments need to implement sustainable policies.
In conclusion, it is possible for countries to maintain both economic growth and a green environment when governments invest heavily in eco-friendly systems, whereas they could be financially successful but environmentally unsustainale because of the prioritization of economic growth. However, in my opinion, it is possible to obtain both objectives if governments implement balanced development policies without sacrificing environmental protection for economic growth.
