It is often argued that countries which show great statistics on economy usually have a clean environment, while other people believe that these two ideas are working well together. While, in highly developed nations are more tend to pollute environment, I firmly believe that these countries’ law system and people’s awareness are also improved.
On the one hand, since economy develops investments in machinery, tools and factories dramatically increase. Natural resources, such as solid, water and air are started to use by human for several purposes- to gain electricity, habitat for wildlife and nutrition sources. All these attempts influence our surroundings, chemicals from factories and companies mix with environment. Unlimited usage of natural resources leads to lack. Moreover, since the number of people in workforce also rise, it become to control regulations on them. To illustrate, even tough the USA consider highly-developed nation in the world, it is also the largest polluted are in the world. People throw their rubbish onto ground, in the street and into river, neglect beauty of nature and because of a high amount of carbon dioxide, country suffer from a high level of air pollution.
On the other hand, from my perspective, developed countries also had high level of awareness about importance of keeping creating environment and strict law system. These nations familiar with global environmental problems, such as all kind of pollution, deforestation, decertification and natural disasters. In order to tackle these issues, governments usually arrange meetings, encourage people to join STRAT UP projects and to become volunteer. Schools and educational centers provide special lessons and seminars to inform young generation and call them to do some volunteering work. Moreover, media sectors play a vital role enlighten on global issues. In addition, in developed countries government and local communities implement strict rules in order to protect environment, they set a heavy fine and sometimes first-time offenders must to participate on cleaning public areas. By way of example, in Chine, there are a number of cameras in the streets and they immediately report when someone throw litter on the ground or damage surrounding.
To sum up, even though in order to become economically successful people should highly influence on environment, regulations and acts on increasing public awareness by authorities will solve this problem.
