Salary plays a crucial role for employees. Job satisfaction is mostly obtained by a high salary paid by the company that employees are working for. Except for volunteer work based on passion and kindness, other physically demanding or technically challenging jobs need to enhance job satisfaction by paying a livable amount of wage or salary.
In this case, most of the companies provide employees with physiological and esteem needs in order to gain employee’s job satisfaction. It is because job satisfaction makes the employee not want to resign. In the nature of human and living, the higher the salary, the more respect the person gets thus everyone chases for a high salary over job satisfaction.
However, there are still precious companies paying workers a high hourly wage which combines to a high monthly salary. The employees of a particular company always look motivated and exalted because they are paid well and satisfied with their job.
On the other hand, there are people who work for a company paying small amounts. There must be different reasons; for experience, from their enthusiasm and passion or job’s workload. It is also undeniable that a high salary comes off with high responsibilities and strict rules. Sometimes, even a high salary cannot create job satisfaction.
In conclusion, I agree to a certain extent that some people believe that job satisfaction is more important than a high salary. It is because highly-paid jobs require outstanding academic record, experience and an ability to withstand incoming pressure, whereas In jobs paying just livable salary, it is common to meet with a satisfied worker. Therefore, job satisfaction reflects directly on the salary paid.
