While a group of people believe that job satisfaction is more essential, another group puts a high salary in the first place. This essay discuss both sides before giving my opinion.
On the one hand, economic crisis spreads worldwide and everyone want to gain financial security for present and future. In the modern era, especially young people want to enhance their life quality, and travel and discover the planet. That is why money plays a key role when they choose their professions. In addition, disadvantaged group of people have to earn more money to support their family. In some case, we can observe a great brain drain from developing country to developed ones just for higher salary.
On the other hand, job satisfaction is the most important nuance to be happy entire life. A proper work environment gives workers motivation. According to the recent research, satisfied job reduces the stress level of employees. However, we think some professions are demanding and companies offer a higher salary, our careers do not grow without satisfaction. Therefore, we stay in the same position and earn the same amount of salary for years. But when we do our dream jobs, we live mentally and physically stable and get promotions frequently.
To sum up, to move up the career leader step by step, we shouldn’t give up our dream jobs for just higher income. We should enjoy our work. Otherwise, we have to live tedious and stressful life, probably without any progress.
