Some individuals find living in an apartment more advantageous than staying in a dormitory of the university whilst others consider it detrimental. In my view, students, who live in the dormitory get more advantages from it.
On the one hand, living in an apartment provides much more privacy. Students in dormitory have to live with others in the same room and it can cause difficulties related to the personal space. For instance, if the student wants to have a private call with family or someone else, there occurs a necessity to search for other place. Also, it includes other activities that the individual is doing in own room, which are always observed by roommates. Therefore, staying at dormitory of educational institute may lead to absence of isolation .
On the other hand, dormitory may be efficient for extra time. The commuting might be time-consuming and conserved time could be used for other activities. For example, students may go to extracurricular classes in order to study. Furthermore, this means that students will not be concerned about the details of getting a taxi or bus and late time respectively, as they live withing walking distance. Therefore, living in a dormitory is profitable to attend extra classes and spend time by studying, which results in academic performance.
In conclusion, some people claim that living in an apartment is beneficial. However, there are humans believing that it has considerable drawbacks compared to dormitory life. In my opinion, dormitory students have more opportunities to enhance their learning process.
