In this modern era, time has been changed but the thinking of people have-not change. Gender inequality is still persisting in some areas of the world. Few individuals think that women’s are not capable to work equally to men’s in different kinds of occupations. While some argue that females genetically have poor strength than men, I firmly believe that after the introduction of modern tools and technology skills and knowledge is important than strength.
In ancient times, females are not allowed to work outside and also not allowed to pursue for higher education. It was believed that higher education is the right of males only. But, in this modern era, women’s are encouraged to gain technical knowledge and they study abroad for their graduation. Furthermore, the introduction of modern machines makes work easier which does not require physical strength, to operate the machines technical information is required. For instance, survey conducted by Indian government results that in 1980 only 5% of women’s were working in medical and engineering field, however, in 2026 55% and 45% of doctors and engineers are women.
In addition to this, researches showed that men and women have similar cognitive skills which require for leadership and management roles. Women’s are now working in multinational companies and few of them are running their own firms which results that both perform equally. On the other hand, in some families females are still not allowed to work outside due to the perception that has been persisted for years. In some cultures it is believed that women have only household duties instead of working outside. Due to which still they cannot pursue for high schooling which persist them to gain knowledge and learn skills which are required to perform a job.
In conclusion, in my perspective due to cultural restrictions females are not allowed to work equally to men, although, technology makes harder work easy which require technical knowledge.
