People have different views about whether older people should continue their work if they have wish or they must retire at a fixed age. While there are Some downsides of working at old age, I firmly believe that it is a positive development.

There are multiple reasons why older people should continue to work if they have wish. One possible reason is that freedom and independency after retiring. When a people get older and retired, they become free all the time, which makes themself to do something new. Though people love independency, countless uncommited days make them dull. So, numerous old individuals want to do some passionate works because without busyness, people can’t feel themself as a human being. Another reason is that lacking of money. After getting retired, earning sources of greybeards become shut down. Many ambitious aged man want to fulfill their incomplete dreams but they cannot do until they have adequate money. For this reason, they want to do some extra works to earn additional support in onder to fulfill their desires. Moreover, every individual has hobbies, so older people also have some hobbies. They want to spend their times by doing their hobby related works and want to continue their engaged life. For example, there are many hobbies of older peoples such as farming, doing business etc. By doing these works, they remain compassioned and earn extra.

Despite the above arguments, it cannot be denied that older people should retire at a fixed age. Firstly, they feel exhausted after passing their entire life doing education, job etc. They loss their many strengthens and become weak at their older age, making them unable to continue their work. Secondly, their offspring want themselves to take rest and maintain additional works of the family such as marketing, taking care of their grandchildrens etc. Furthermone, people face abundant diseases when they turn 60 yeans or more. Most of them become patient at this age range, which reduce their capability of doing continue to their work. For instance, some diseases like paralyses, fever, cancer, heart disease make them incapable to do work. Therefore, seeing this detrimental aspects many individual don’t let older people to continue with their work.

Though it has some harmful effects when older people want to continue their work, it is not something that needs to be stopped. If they have their own wish to do some work, it is a prime duty for society to help them and accomplish their desire.
