In contemporary societies, some individuals claim that running a business is the best way to accomplish financial success and personal independency, while others advocate that working for founded company provides more stability and benefits for career growth. This essay attempts to shed light on both perspectives before concluding that I am in favor of the former notion.
On the one hand, proponents of starting a business have a host of compelling reasons to justify their standpoint. Starting a business demands courage and taking risks. However, a lot of people have been able to continue their business with a strategic plan, analytical thinking, and well-organized fundamental. They earn more profit because they are not an employee, thay are an employer. For instance, a founder of company Microsoft used to be an ordinary worker of a company in the USA. Then he had decided to work on his own project and ultimately achived success, being a bilionare.
On the other hand, some people support an idea of working for an established companies. They believe not only opportunities that these companies provides such as job security, financial stabilty is essential but also reputation of a good company can contribute someone’s career thriving. Additionally, being a worker has less responsibilities compared to a boss of an organization and with this way an individual can dedicate his out of work times to personal development and relaxing.
In summary, while both viewpoints have their own merits and disadvantages such as financial independency of business owners and job security or risky environment and stangnating, I believe starting a business can come to the better conclusions.
